If I could correspond with anyone it would Jane Austen. She is one of my favorite authors. However, that is not the only reason I would choose her to correspond with. She started writing a book called "Sanditon" but passed away before its completion. Now this deeply troubles me. I have not read the book simply because I need an ending. There are many people who have written their versions of its ending, but I am sure that none are sufficient. So, if I were to correspond with Jane I would not only be able to read more of her fabulous writing but also know the ending to "Sanditon." I would be able to know, firsthand, her thoughts on all of her books. I could know her, not just what people speculate about her. If I could write with her, I would have more writings of hers, even more dear to me than her published books. Thursday, December 8, 2011
My Dream Correspondant

You give good reasons why you want to correspond with her. I'm not familiar with "Sandition" but I agree with you. It wouldn't be fun to read knowing that you don't have an ending. And other people's attempts don't work either!
